Each candle uses 2 AA batteries providing many weeks of beautiful glow time when used with the built in 6 hour automatic daily timer. Pacific Accents Flameless Wax Taper Candles are virtually identical in function and appearance to traditional flame candles except there's no flame, smoke, residue or messy wax build-up. Three sets of adaptors are included to help our flameless taper candles fit into virtually any taper candle holder.

I love these candles!

These candles are awesome. I have 6 of them. I have a wall sconce that holds 3 candles on each side of a picture above my bed. I didn't want to use real candles so I chose these. They are simple to use and are on a timer. You just put in 2 AA batteries [not included] and push the button on the bottom. When they are on they are automatically on a 6 hour timer. Mine come on at 6 PM and go off at midnight. They give a beautiful glow with the flicker of authentic candlelight; they truly look like real candles.
